Gateway to Exmoor

South Molton the Gateway to Exmoor is a centre for local agriculture and the Pannier Market is still draw for locals and visitors alike on the Thursday and Saturdays. Dating back to Saxon times the town is formed around a pretty central square with impressive historic buildings to either side

South Molton has cafés serving locally sourced food and independent shops selling everything from handmade chocolates to boutique homeware as well as a programme of lively events throughout the year,

For a great family day out visit the Quince Honey Farm, where you can see the world’s largest exhibition of honeybees up close, watch staff take on a daring bee beard challenge, and take some delicious local honey home with you.
