This Christmas step into the magic of a Storybook Christmas at Arlington Court. Wander through the beautifully decorated house as classic tales come to life, taking you across oceans, into the skies and through enchanting gardens.

Families can take part in our Write Your Own Story Trail from 21 November to 3 January, creating a unique adventure as they travel around the grounds, spinning a wheel at each stop to choose characters, overcome challenges and decide how their story ends.

Over the opening weekend, 21 to 23 November, the North Devon Handmade Collective will be bringing a festive pop-up market to Arlington. Browse a selection of locally made arts, crafts and seasonal treats, perfect for Christmas gift shopping.

From 21 to 30 November, we’re also offering a Bring a Friend for Free promotion. National Trust members with a valid membership card and visitors paying full admission can bring a guest free of charge, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a festive day out with family and friends.

For an extra sprinkle of Christmas magic, join us at one of our evening openings on 1, 8 and 15 December. Experience Arlington after dark, enjoy festive refreshments from the tea-room, toast marshmallows by the fire and explore the Christmas displays in the house.
