Epchris House

Located in the tranquil Wilder Valley, 250 year old Epchris House is only 5 minutes from the South West Coast Path and a 10 minute walk to Ilfracombe seafront, with on-site parking for each room. Epchris House dates back to the 1700s and there are many original features throughout the building and bedrooms.

A sheltered sun terrace offers a gorgeous spot for an al fresco breakfast, or a drink from the bar whilst taking in the view. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a slice of our complementary homemade cake served daily, accompanied by your choice of free tea or coffee from our all-day hot drinks station.

There are extensive gardens for you to enjoy and 9 rooms to choose from, including king, double and twin all with en-suite, plus a twin with private external bathroom. In addition there is a ground floor suite with double room, kitchenette, walk-in wet room bathroom and reserved parking space, ideal for guests who like the flexibility of partial self-catering or who have accessibility needs.

We welcome doggy guests and have dog-friendly and dog-free rooms.

We serve an extremely relaxed and highly-rated in-room breakfast, with a wide choice of items including homemade granola, freshly baked pastries, full English and homemade American-style waffles. Breakfast can also be taken on our sun terrace on warm days. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
