We love welcoming visitors to Ilfracombe, but we would ask that you wait just a little longer.
Further to the announcement of new lockdown measures which came into effect from Wednesday 13th May, we would remind everybody to adhere to the rules and not make unnecessary journeys that will endanger the vulnerable people and support workers in our community. For those in our region who are tempted to visit our beautiful town for a day trip we would just like to remind you that all hospitality businesses, including shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions, remain closed and there are no lifeguards on any of the beaches in North Devon. Also all public toilets remain closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will of course be following developments and the advice from the government. Please read the current Government guidance on travel and social distancing.
Ilfracombe will wait for you. Please wait for Ilfracombe. Until then, stay safe everyone and we shall see you soon.
