Michael, Eliot and the team welcome you to Ilfracombe’s leading independently owned hotel. Viewed from the outside you’ll find a classic Victorian villa, but inside brand new and contemporary features contribute to this 21st century award winning hotel.

Our attractive 40-bedroom property has been thoughtfully modernised with every comfort you could need in your home from home. Superior four star standards, with matching service and hospitality throughout.

We are ideally located for a relaxing break by the sea, within easy walking distance of Ilfracombe’s seafront, harbour and High Street, with car parking available.

A range of guest bedrooms are fully refurbished; and have been individually designed with fully tiled bathrooms, new double glazing, security features, wardrobes complete with laptop safe and personal fridges. All include brand new beds, high quality linen, blackout curtains, flat screen TVs, hair dryers, iron facilities and hospitality trays amongst the new features. Superfast WiFi extends throughout the whole building. We offer single, double, twin, Queen and King bedded rooms along with super family rooms (including huge beds) and adapted rooms too.

Dishes are cooked from scratch, allowing us to adapt to your own dietary needs. You’ll find gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options on our seasonal menus.

Join us for dinner every day from 6pm and our famous Sunday lunch from 12:30pm. Pop in for a drink or cocktail, or explore our local craft ales and great value wine selection.
