No. 5 Compass is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday apartment with spectacular panoramic sea views, located on the top floor of an elegant Victorian building on Capstone Crescent in the heart of Ilfracombe, North Devon.
The apartment looks directly across the Bristol Channel and harbour, giving guests ever-changing coastal views from the comfort of the lounge. Watch fishing boats, pleasure boats and seabirds come and go, or simply enjoy the changing colours of the sea and sky. Dolphins, porpoises and seals are occasionally spotted from the apartment.

The wider area is home to some of North Devon’s best-known beaches, including Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton, as well as beautiful coastal walks and the Tarka Trail. The area is particularly popular with walkers, beach lovers, nature enthusiasts and visitors looking for a relaxing seaside escape.
Ilfracombe became a popular Victorian seaside resort following the arrival of the railway, which connected the town with London and other parts of the country. The elegant properties along Capstone Crescent were originally built as holiday homes for affluent Victorian visitors.
