Docton Mill Gardens & Tea Rooms
Docton Mill gardens and tea rooms are situated in a stunning valley location about 1500M from the coast and Spekes Mill Mouth waterfall. The garden, set in 9 acres of woodland in a steep sided valley, surrounds the existing mill pond and leat which receives its water from the river which meanders through the garden. The garden has interest throughout the season with the magnolias and vast swathes of narcissi in early spring, bluebells and rhododendrons in April and the amazing herbaceous border in mid June.
The tea-room is situated on the terrace adjacent to the mill house and serves light lunches all day, last orders 4.30pm. We are well known for our delicious cream teas and also serve a selection of homemade cakes, filled rolls, crab, beef, cheese, turkey and tuna, a selection of desserts also. All products locally sourced as far as possible. Last food orders 4.30pm. Please telephone for special dietary requirements.
