Getting around by bus

Ilfracombe is well connected by local bus services, offering a convenient and sustainable way to explore North Devon. Whether you’re heading to the beach, visiting nearby attractions, or walking a section of the South West Coast Path, the local network provides reliable transport without the need to drive or park.

Affordable Travel

Thanks to the national fare cap scheme, most single bus journeys cost no more than £3, making it an extremely cost-effective option for getting around. Concessionary bus passes allow eligible passengers to travel for free or at a reduced rate in accordance with scheme rules.

Check Timetables and Plan Ahead

Services can vary by day and season, particularly on rural and coastal routes. It’s always advisable to check the latest timetables and service updates with the operator before you travel.
You can view all North Devon bus services, timetables, and stops using the Travel Devon Interactive Bus Map.
