We are nearer than you think. Ilfracombe is easily accessible, your travel options include making your journey by road, rail or by plane. Why not travel early, stay long and leave late, not only does this give you more time in this fantastic area but it will help you miss any congestion at peak holiday times.

By Car: From the M5 turn off at Junction 27. Take the A361 signposted to Barnstaple. Continue on A361 following signs to Ilfracombe, bypassing Barnstaple and via Braunton. Or take the scenic drive to the coast. 2 miles after the South Molton turning turn right off the roundabout onto the A399 tourist route signed Combe Martin , Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.

By Coach: National Express has a direct daily service to Barnstaple from London Victoria, with connecting services from other towns.

By Train: Intercity trains to Exeter, change to the scenic Tarka Line for onward travel to Barnstaple, with coach bus or taxi connections to Ilfracombe. Search and book national and international rail tickets to Ilfracombe with The Train Line.

By Air: New routes from across the country now arrive at Bristol, Exeter  and Newquay with car hire and public transport links to Ilfracombe.
