Dogs Trust Ilfracombe

We are a 40 kennel centre, set in a beautiful wooded valley with a dedicated team of staff and fantastic volunteers on hand to provide all of our dogs with the best possible care while they wait to find their forever homes.

Every year we find hundreds of loving new homes for stray and abandoned dogs, so come on in for a visit and our friendly staff will help to find the perfect new canine companion for you. You don’t need to make an appointment during opening hours, so please drop in and say hello.

Dogs Trust Ilfracombe underwent a complete refurbishment in 2013 so that we are able to ensure that all of our dogs enjoy their time here whilst enjoying the best possible level of care. With glass fronts and under floor heating in all our kennels, the facilities are now completely state of the art and very comfortable too.

All our dogs would love to find their forever home, so come on down for a visit, where you’ll be greeted by waggy tails and friendly faces. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Did you know our Supporter Relations Officer can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre. There is also a training centre.
