Dress code: Your finest Christmas sparkle, hats, tinsel and festive fun!
Hot drinks kindly provided by the RNLIWe’ll be there overseeing safety on the day, but please remember all swimmers enter the water at their own risk.
Cold Water Safety – Please ReadCold water is exhilarating, but it comes with risks. Take care of yourself:
• Acclimatise slowly — don’t rush straight in.
• Keep your swim short — festive dips are all about fun, not distance.
• Never swim alone — stay close to others and listen to safety briefings.
• Know your limits — cold shock can hit fast; exit the water immediately if you feel breathless or light-headed.
• Warm up gradually, dry clothes, hat, layers, warm drink, and gentle movement.
