31 August & 1 September – Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival – Ropery Road Its the 15th Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival in 2024. We are a FREE family festival with live music, food & entertainment.
7 September – 12 noon to 5pm – Ilfracombe Bike Show – Ilfracombe Seafront
Hundreds of roaring motorcycles on the Seafront. Orgainised by Satans Slaves MC North Devon
8 September – 5.30pm – Ilfracombe RNLI Celebrating 200 years of the RNLI – in the boathouse
South Molton Town Band playing a selection of themed music – the “Blessing of the Boats” – Cutting of 200th anniversary celebratory cake & “Anchors Aweigh” singing group with a programme of sea-shanties all followed by refreshments.

27 September – 7.30pm – THE HISTORY OF ROCK is back and bigger than ever!

As always we’ll be taking audiences on a thrilling ride through the history of rock – but this time, we’re turning the spotlight on Led Zeppelin, as they headline the ultimate rock concert line-up the world has ever seen.

1 September – Singer & Guitarist – Sam Dowden
Sam’s own written songs and music are inspired by his life events, and others from around him and from his own journey of personal development and discovery. Sam is now one of the most well known song artists and performers in North Devon.
6 to 9 September – Barum boxing Cup 2024
Now in it’s the 4th year Barum Box Tournament is being organized at North Devon Resort.
13 to 15 September – Rave Kidz Weekender

Join us for for two days of Bavarian bliss! Spend two unforgettable days immersed in the best of beer, song, games, and endless fun at our German Bierkeller. From traditional music to lively competitions, there’s something for everyone.
AROUND & ABOUT THE WIDER NORTH DEVON
Each Wednesday until 4 September – Borough Farm Sheepdog & Falconry Displays– 6pm to 7.30pm The company of David Kennard, and his trusty team of working collies. With top dogs Glen, Mirk and Minnie. Sedge and Bec are my latest recruits, and I’m hoping that despite being just pups they will be able to make an appearance at this years shows. Our Falconry display will this year be performed by North Devon Falconer Martin Simkins. Join us for an unforgettable country evening.

1 August to 20 September – Mortehoe Craft Fair – Mortehoe Village Hall – 10am to 4pm A lovely selection of local crafts and produce. Open every Friday – Admission Free.
3 & 7 September – 11am – Guided Wider Estate Walks – Arlington Court
The walks are from 1.5 – 3 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. Discover woods, species-rich grasslands and stunning views, all with the support of our friendly, experienced walking volunteers. Free event – booking not needed
8 September – 10am to 5pm – Lobster & Crab Feast – Clovelly
Clovelly celebrates its famous sustainably caught lobsters and crabs. Live folk music, quay kitchens, cookery demonstrations, a magnum of champagne prize draw, delicious lobster and crab dishes, craft stalls and beer tasting. Plus street theatre, walkabout magic, balloon modelling and craft activities. In aid of The National Lobster Hatchery, Padstow.
8 September – North Devon Classic Car Show – The Big Sheep
Classic Cars on display from across the West Country. Come along and vote for your favourite classic car of the day. If you have a Classic Car that you’d like to show on the day it’s FREE to take part, please register your car prior. Cars to be in place by 10am, prize giving at the end of the show at 2pm.
