Situated just a stones throw from our beautiful historic harbour, Ward’s Bar and Bistro is delighted to serve you.  Whether it is a pre-theatre drink, a cocktail party night, lunchtime tapas (coming soon), a full a la carte meal prepared by our classically-trained chef using seasonal local ingredients, or Sunday lunch with the family, we’ve got it covered.

Perfectly situated to give you the most outstanding food from our beautiful corner of the world. Whether it is prime Exmoor beef, sustainably sourced fish or seafood from our local fishing fleet, or simply a sandwich using artisan-baked bread, we are sure we can cater for all tastes.  With advance notice, we are happy to provide bespoke meals, just let us know what you fancy and when you will be visiting and we can take care of the rest. So whether it is a child who will only eat dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, Grandma who has to have liver and onions, a fussy vegan teen or just your favourite dish in the world, with a few days notice we would be delighted to accommodate you.

With seating for 24 in our intimate restaurant surroundings and plenty of further seating in our sunny garden, we look forward to welcoming you soon.
