The trail runs from 10 October to 1 November. \nInside the house\, discover a beautifully dressed harvest table and seasonal floral displays\, then head out to the gardens to enjoy a colourful display of gourds. \nOn Friday 30 October\, join us for a Family Fun Day in the gardens to get creative. See the seasonal harvest displays\, hands-on family crafts including whittling\, marshmallow roasting and much more. \nYou can also take part in one of our free guided autumn walks and learn how to identify trees across the estate by their leaves\, bark and seeds. Walks take place on 3\, 6 and 18 October.

National Trust members with a valid membership card and visitors paying full admission can bring a guest free of charge\, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a festive day out with family and friends. \nFor an extra sprinkle of Christmas magic\, join us at one of our evening openings on 1\, 8 and 15 December.
