This year we will also be giving visitors a sneak peak of a new garden space\, the Slip Garden\, that we have been working on. \nLearn about sustainable gardening\, from green manures to planting for pollinators\, and join our gardeners on weekdays for talks and demonstrations in traditional skill and discover the care and creativity that goes into maintaining these historic grounds.

DESCRIPTION:The time for our Shannon class lifeboat\, the Barry & Peggy High Foundation\, to leave Ilfracombe is getting near.\n\n\nShe has been on service here since 2015 and has been a very significant part of our station and our community.\n\n\nHowever\, the changing nature of rescues here means that our Shannon is no longer the right boat for us.\n\n\nWhile we are desperately sad to say goodbye\, we are very much looking forward to the future with our fast\, manoeuvrable Atlantic 85.\n\n\nPlease help us show our appreciation of the Barry & Peggy High Foundation’s long service here and join us on 19th September as she launches on her last journey from our harbour.
