The Harbour Lights is located in the heart of Ilfracombe´s famous heritage harbour on the spectacular North Devon Coast. Within a 10 minute walk you will find The Landmark Theatre, Tunnels Beaches, Ilfracombe Aquarium, Damien Hirst´s "Verity" and the Museum along with a huge choice of bars, restaurants, bistros and cafes.
Your resident hosts, Ruth, Steve and Nick are fully committed proprietors on duty 7 days a week so you can be assured of the highest standards at all times. Our style is traditional and homely, the ambience is relaxed and friendly.
Breakfast is available between 8am and 10am and is included in the cost of your room - no hidden extras. Packed lunches are available and are free in lieu of breakfast if you have a very early (or late!) start to your day. All of this and prices that are hard to beat. We look forward to welcoming you to The Harbour Lights.

Driving directions

From Junction 27 of the M5, follow the A361 to Barnstaple. Continue on the A361 following the signs to Ilfracombe. On entering Ilfracombe from Mullacott Cross, at the first set of traffic lights turn left towards the sea front. At the next set of traffic lights go straight past the landmark into St James Place, at the end turn left and we are immediately on your left.

FROM TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE - LANDMARK THEATRE, Down to St Phillip & St James Church to the end of St James Place. Turn left and The Harbour Lights is on the left.

From Barnstaple take bus No 21. The closest stop is St James Gardens. At the end of St James Place turn left and we are immediately on your left.
