Westaway
Breakfast on the terrace with newspapers. We serve a choice of freshly prepared cooked breakfasts, complemented with cereals, fruit and fruit juice from 8 till 11 am every day in the dining room or, if you prefer, out on the terrace. We are pleased to cater for special diets.
All bedrooms are regularly refurbished to maintain a fresh and contemporary style, and are furnished with top quality furniture, beds and linen. Rooms have comfortable chairs, amply stocked courtesy tray, mini bar, hairdryer, digital television, free wireless internet and safety deposit box. All rooms are en-suite and bathrooms are generously stocked with toiletries. The rooms are more than just en-suite; double rooms have large wide showers, and deluxe rooms have bath with shower. Just outside the bedrooms is a peaceful lounge area, perfect for a spot of reading, or to write postcards home telling everyone what a wonderful time you are having.
The lounge bar, one of the best in the business, is fully licensed and available to guests at any reasonable time. We serve a good range of drinks in a comfortable lounge, with a wide screen digital television and wide selection of videos and books, which you are welcome to borrow during your stay.
Westaway is situated in the centre of town, next door to the historic Tunnels Beaches. The picturesque harbour area featuring pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops and boat tours, is approximately 500 metres away and can be easily reached on foot. The Landmark Centre, which hosts regular theatre and live music events, is a 200 metre walk away. Ilfracombe high street, with shops banks and more pubs and restaurants, is around 100 metres from the guesthouse. Ilfracombe offers a wide choice of dining options including Indian, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian and English restaurants. However, Westaway can arrange home cooked evening meals for guests preferring a quiet night in. 3 course dinner available at £20 per head.
All bedrooms are non smoking areas. We regret we do not have wheelchair access to the guestrooms, and we are unable to accommodate pets.

Road Directions
From tourist information centre turn right out of car park, a traffic lights turn right and westaway is straight ahead of you.
From M5 junction 27
A361 from Barnstaple signposted Ilfracombe. Turn left at 1st set of traffic lights then left again at 2nd set. Westaway can be seen in front and is a large, white house.
