Providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful, mature grounds of The Grange, a Grade II Listed Victorian country residence, with stunning views, in a most attractive location on the fringe of England’s oldest moor ~ the enchanting Exmoor National Park ~ and only five miles from the coast (a pretty beach in the village of Combe Martin).
Offering fully equipped self-catering holiday Chalets in the old walled kitchen garden and by our large duck pond in the old orchard, and for guests with their own Touring Caravan, MotorHome or Tent, we have provided touring and camping pitches with heated shower facilities, all within easy walking distance of our Tea Garden. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome by arrangement.
In accord with interests characteristic of the Victorian era, the grounds of The Grange are planted with a variety of shrubs and specimen trees, including the "prehistoric" Ginkgo, a beautiful Magnolia and a magnificent Deodar, with vibrant colour provided in springtime by the many Rhododendrons.
The property is also home to many species of native wildlife as well as our pet ground birds, including Peacocks, Guinea Fowl, Chickens, Ducks and Geese, all of which are free to roam the grounds as they please.
