Wake up to Ilfracombe - in glorious North Devon
Home > Where to Stay > Hidden Valley Touring & Camping Park
Nestling in a beautiful wooded valley, secluded from the world, where wild ducks often join our tame ones on the lake; herons seem to appear from nowhere, fishing for their breakfast; buzzards glide gracefully overhead.
Many species of wild bird are seen here, or walk to Chapel Wood Bird Sanctuary. The Barnstaple-Ilfracombe Railway line once ran through Hidden Valley. Enthusiasts will remember the breathtaking scenery en route to Mortehoe Station.
Throughout the seasons walkers and ramblers will find much to please them in the woodland around us - daffodils, primroses, bluebells; the lush greens of summer and the autumn golds.
Our location is the perfect base for touring. There are excellent beaches within easy driving distance of Hidden Valley. Our famous Golden Coast with its miles of golden sands, sheltered coves and bays.
Nearby is Exmoor National Park - 300 square miles of spectacular scenery, meandering streams and sweeping moorland where red deer, ponies and sheep still roam free. Whatever the season - you will enjoy the delights of this wonderful area.
