Rescue Day

Rescue Day is reputably Britain's biggest Emergency Services Live Display Day! It is an annual charity fundraising event held on Ilfracombe Pier, showcasing all the Emergency Services serving in our area. It all kicks off with a marching band,then a whole host of organisation put on static stalls, & really rather exciting live displays,where we get to see them in action & learn how they work together in response to a broad range of Emergency situations. The day is as educational as it is entertaining. A 'park & ride sceme' is organised from the Rugby Club next to the swimming pool at Hillsborough.
