Welcome to Wellington's Retreat, a charming listed Georgian building, ideally positioned right in the 'Heart of Old Ilfracombe'. Standing on the upper terrace of picturesque Fore Street, this deceptively bijou coastal house lies just 200yards from local shops, pub and cafes. All rooms have been completely refurbished to the highest standard.
A limited number of bedrooms mean we can deliver a personal, friendly and informal service, whilst maintaining a high degree of quality and privacy. Our rooms are as individual as our guests, whether you travel alone or as a couple, and the choice of late check out and breakfast at the guest's convenience comes as standard.
Our Restaurant "Wellington's" offers a fine dining experience with 5 course dinner offered to residents at an additional £20 per person.

Road Directions

From tourist information centre turn right of out car park, at traffic lights turn left into Northfield Road, at next set of lights turn left into the High street. At the fork junction take the left road into Fore street then straight on at the no entry sign. Wellingtons is up on Waterloo Terrace on the right hand side of the road.

From Junction 27 of the M5, follow the A361 to Barnstaple. Continue on the A361 following signs to Ilfracombe.O n entering Ilfracombe from Mullacott Cross, drive straight on at the first and second set of traffic lights, straight along the High Street. Take the left fork at the Job Centre into Fore Street, then straight on at the No Entry sign. Wellingtons is up on Waterloo Terrace on the right hand side of the road.
