Charming and elegant holiday accommodation in one of the most attractive villages on the North Devon Coast.

We are delighted to welcome you to Lincombe House, set in magnificent scenery in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.

We take pride in the quality of the accommodation, maintaining the right balance between modern facilities and the intrinsic charm of the old former farmhouse, much of it at least 250 years old.

We enjoy welcoming guests, and are confident you will have a splendid holiday here, whatever your interests. Lincombe House is our home as well, and we are here to help you if you need us.

We have a range of accommodation, all of which has levels of facilities and comfort that easily meet our 3-star classification. All our units are completely self-contained and are maintained and serviced personally by ourselves to ensure high quality and high standards of cleanliness.

· Stable Cottage: 2 bedrooms; ideal for a family of up to 5 people. Direct access to the large garden.
· Hillymouth: 2 bedrooms, both very large. Ideal for 2 couples; the apartment very comfortably accommodates 6 and can sleep 8.
· Whitestone: 1 bedroom; ideal for a couple. There is plenty of space and, if required, the sofa in the lounge coverts into an extra double bed.
Sometimes, larger groups book both Hillymouth and Whitestone which are adjacent to each other.

Lincombe House is on the approach road to Lee Village and Bay – an area of outstanding beauty known as Fuchsia Valley. From the house and garden there are fine views of open countryside and the sea. As well as the most attractive Lee Bay, the nearby coast path offers spectacular views of the coastline. Woolacombe’s sandy beaches are nearby, and the interests of Ilfracombe are less than 3 miles away. Slightly further away, but still easily accessible, are Exmoor National Park, the twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, and the attractive regional centre of Barnstaple.

We are part of a small village community with many interesting features, a beautiful and intimate church, and a first-rate village pub. We are in a quiet, beautiful area, but not isolated or remote.

Road Directions

From M5 junction 27
From M5 junction 27, take A361 to Barnstaple and then onwards towards Ilfracombe; at Mullacott Cross roundabout (10 miles north of Barnstaple); turn left onto B3343, signposted to Woolacombe; after 1.5 miles, turn right signposted to Lincombe; after 1.25 miles, turn left at junction; Lincombe House is 300 yards on the left.

Public Transport Directions

From Barnstaple - 12 miles
First bus service 3 or 30 from Barnstaple bus station (0.5 mile from train station) to Ilfracombe. Taxi from Ilfracombe (2.5 miles) or occasional service 35 to Lee Bay, passing Lincombe House. Please contact us for a lift from Ilfracombe, if necessary. National EXpress 502 also serves Barnstaple and Ilfracombe.
