A family-run hotel, the Epchris is set within 2 acres, close to the National Trust Torrs walks, coastal paths and Exmoor. You can relax here and enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool and paddling pool (available end of May to mid September) whilst children play in the grounds or in the games chalet with table tennis, table football and a small pool and snooker table. There is a verandah and new patio area.

A short stroll away is the Landmark Theatre on the Ilfracombe seafront with its own cinema and rendezvous cafe bar.

The Epchris has separate TV lounge, cosy bar, central heating throughout and private car parking. All family/twin bedrooms are en suite and have direct dial telephone, colour TV,clock radio, hairdryer & tea/coffee-making facilities and one room is on the ground floor with easy access for wheelchairs.

Group bookings are welcome for golfing or shooting breaks and secure gun cabinets are available. Private functions can be catered for. Discounts are available for senior citizens and children.

Road Directions

From Tourist Information Centre turn right out of car park to first set of lights, turn right into Bath place, next left into Torrs Park. Epchris Hotel is up hill on left.
From M5 junction 27
Follow the A361 directly from Barnstaple into Ilfracombe. Turn left at 1st traffic lights towards the sea. Left at 2nd traffic lights, then left again into Torrs Park. Hotel is up hill on left.

Public Transport Directions

From Barnstaple - 12 miles
Coaches to Barnstaple, local bus to Ilfracombe or coach direct to Ilfracombe. Would need further transport from Barnstaple station.
